Shipping Information

All shipments are FOB place of shipment. We prepay and add freight and insurance charges to your order. All orders are processed assuming they will be shipped complete. Back orders do occur and are shipped as received.

The default shipping method for small, light orders is USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. The default shipping method for larger, heavier orders is UPS Ground Service. American Safe Room does not charge handling fees. We also ship by Federal Express or USF Reddaway upon request. UPS cannot deliver to Post Office boxes.

International shipping: please specify desired carrier. Also: be aware that certain items that we sell have been deemed a munition by the United State government and an export license must be obtained before shipment. American Safe Room, Inc. is registered with the United States Department of State as a manufacturer of defense articles. Our registration code is: M16478.

The export process requires cooperation between the manufacture and the purchaser. We have exported many items and can guide you through the process of filling out and submitting the Non-transfer and Use Certificate.

Return policy

American Safe Room, Inc. will repair or replace any defective parts for up to 1 year from the date of shipping. Beyond this date, we will gladly repair or replace any damaged part for a reasonable cost.

We have had very few returns since we have been manufacturing the Safe Cell. However, we have been counseled by other manufacturers that it is human nature to purchase "insurance" when threats loom and then return the "insurance" after the threat is perceived to be gone. Therefore, we do not accept returns after 15 days of purchase.

We desire to provide a quality product at a reasonable price to responsible consumers. We are not an insurance agency, but we are reasonable individuals and will do everything we can to "make things right," if given the opportunity.

 

Limited Liability Warranty

American Safe Room, Inc. warrants our mechanical products against manufacturing defects for a period of one year. This warranty is limited to repair or replacing defective parts at our sole discretion. Mechanical parts are defined as any individual part that does not produce or carry an electrical current at any time. American Safe Room, Inc. warrants our electrical products against manufacturing defects for a period of one year. This warranty is limited to repair or replacing defective parts at our sole discretion. Electrical parts are defined as any individual part that does produce or conduct electricity.

What this warranty includes: Repair or replacement of any item within the specified warranty time that is shown to have been manufactured with a defect that was not apparent at time of manufacture or purchase.

What this warranty does not include: Any damage to parts after they leave our factory. Either in shipping, assembling, or use.

What you, the purchaser, can do to protect your purchase: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to inspect and test any and all parts immediately after taking possession of them. This will not only protect the end user, it will protect the purchaser in the event that warranty service is necessary. Retain all the paperwork, especially the user manual and the invoice for the life of the part. What you need to do in the event of a problem with your purchase: Notify us immediately. We have the knowledge, tools, and parts to fix your problem. Do not wait to notify us. Do not notify any of our dealers, agents, or anyone claiming to represent American Safe Room, Inc. What we will do in the event of a problem with your purchase: We will first try and determine the extent of the problem and what will repair it. We will offer to ship replacement parts if we deem that the problem is easily repaired. Do not try an repair any part without factory authorization. In the event that replacement parts do not repair the problem, you will have to ship the parts to the factory for testing and repair. Do not ship any parts back without prior authorization.
